The DMO Osaka Umeda is hosting member networking events aimed at enhancing communication, information exchange, and collaboration among its members.

The 3rd networking event took place at the newly opened conference facility, “AP INOGATE OSAKA,” in November 2024. The theme was deepening our understanding of “Area MICE,” which is actively promoted by DMO Osaka Umeda.

In the first half, we had the privilege to hear from Mr. Hirose, the Secretary-General of “NoMaps,” a leading example of domestic area MICE taking place in Sapporo. In the second half, participants engaged in group discussions, divided into six teams, to brainstorm ideas around themes like “Post-MICE,” “Reception,” and “Unique Venues.” Lively exchanges centered on possibilities for enhancing the Umeda experience, inspired by Mr. Hirose’s presentation.

After the discussions, we transitioned to the stylish Creative Lounge within AP INOGATE OSAKA for a networking reception. Mr. Hirose joined us again, and the conversations were vibrant, fostering meaningful connections.
Through events like this, DMO Osaka Umeda is committed to fostering collaboration among businesses in the Umeda area, proactively advancing the acceptance and support of MICE initiatives.
