DMO Osaka Umeda exhibited at the “International MICE Expo (IME2025),” which was held at the Tokyo International Forum in February 2025. This marked our first independent presence at a MICE business matching event. We were delighted to receive numerous pre-scheduled appointments and, including walk-ins on the day, successfully conducted a total of 13 productive business meetings.

Many of our discussions were with domestic buyers, many of whom were already familiar with Umeda or had experience organizing MICE events in the area. This familiarity enabled us to provide more specific introductions and highly tailored proposals. Furthermore, for those exploring MICE opportunities in Umeda, our role as the central point of contact for the Umeda area allowed us to present a wide array of diverse options. We felt this participation was highly significant, and we are committed to continuing our involvement in this important MICE business matching event going forward.
