DMO Osaka Umeda undertook an initiative to support MICE  reception by collaborating with the organizers of multiple innovation-related business events held in the Umeda area.

This impactful period, encompassing several key business gatherings, has been officially named “UMEDA INNOVATION WEEK.” To build city-wide excitement, we launched integrated promotional campaigns. This includes leveraging digital signage across Umeda and distributing shared flyers, both leading up to and during the events.

For the convenience of participants traveling from afar, we have newly established a dedicated hotel reservation website.

Furthermore, we have released “DOKOIKO: Umeda MICE Mode“, a city navigation app specifically for MICE attendees. This app is packed with useful information, designed to encourage more extensive exploration of the Umeda area by participants.

DMO Osaka Umeda remains committed to pioneering and implementing such area-based MICE initiatives in the future.
